BEFORE AND AFTER CARE

The more you moisturize your skin, the better! We recommend at least twice a day, in the few days leading up to your airbrush tanning experience. No lotion on your skin the day of your spray tan. 

Before you come in for your airbrush tanning experience, it is important to bathe, shave, and exfoliate your skin to ensure a beautiful, even glow. If using a pre-tan scrub, we ask that you use one without oils. If you are unsure if your pre-tan scrub contains oil, please use a washcloth or exfoliating body scrubber. 

You should avoid light, tight, or restrictive clothing to minimize potential staining and uneven tanning. We recommend bringing dark, loose fitting clothing for after your airbrush tanning experience.

Male clients over the age of 18 must wear a swimsuit or underwear.

Clients under the age of 18 must wear a bathing suit or undergarments.  

We ask that you come to your appointment with clean skin, free of makeup and deodorant. If this is not possible, please let us know and we can provide you with makeup remover or cleansers.

Literally! Let the tanning solution soak into your skin for the instructed time (given by your technician) before your first shower. DHA will deepen in color 3-5 hours after your airbrush tanning experience and will continue to develop for up to 24 hours. Letting your tan set in will ensure a deep tan that will last.

We highly recommend you avoid water of all kinds within the first 12-15 hours while your color develops. Showers, rain, splashing, and even sweat can leave your airbrush tan uneven or streaky. If you are a sweaty sleeper, we recommend you getting your tan as early in the day as possible. Try to avoid touching your skin; color may transfer to your hands and remove it from that area of your body. 

Your first shower should be no earlier than 12-15 hours after your airbrush tan, unless otherwise directed. Rapid tans will have an earlier rinse time.  We recommend rinsing thoroughly with water, removing the temporary bronze color until the water runs clear. Be sure to rinse your feet and ankle areas as they can become uneven or too dark in color. Moisturize daily after your first shower!
